Products & variants
Name the choices customers make
Use Color and Size as option names when those are the actual decisions. Avoid generic labels such as “Option 1” and “Option 2”; they make the purchase path feel unfinished.
Morrow keeps the selected option visible and marks unavailable combinations clearly. The available combinations still come from Shopify’s product and inventory data.
Inventory rules
Shopify decides whether a variant is:
- available to purchase,
- sold out, or
- available to sell when out of stock.
If every size shows sold out, inspect the variant inventory in Shopify before changing the theme. Confirm the location, quantity, and inventory policy for the product being tested.
Cart and accelerated checkout
Test these states for at least one real product:
- Add to cart with a selected variant.
- Add twice and confirm the quantity increases as expected.
- Update quantity from the cart drawer or cart page.
- Remove the line and confirm the empty state.
- Use the accelerated checkout action only after the product selection is valid.
The primary Add to cart control is solid. The accelerated Buy it now action is intentionally outlined so the two actions have a clear hierarchy while staying within the monochrome visual system.
