Typography
Morrow uses Shopify’s built-in font selector for the primary, menu, and logo typefaces. This keeps your typography easy to change and avoids any extra font files to manage.
Choose a display face with enough weight for product titles, then check the smallest muted text against the background. The type choice should support the product photography, not compete with it.
Colors
The theme exposes the main contrast decisions in one place:
| Setting | Used for |
|---|---|
| Background | Page and section surfaces |
| Foreground | Body text, headings, and primary controls |
| Accent | Highlights, links, and selected states |
| Muted text | Supporting copy and metadata |
After changing colors, check product price, sold-out states, focus rings, buttons, and the accelerated checkout button. Avoid relying on a color alone to communicate availability.
Hero and sections
Use the hero for one decision: where should the customer go next? Choose a product image, custom image, or separate mobile image, then write a short CTA that names the destination.
Homepage sections are reorderable in the editor. A useful sequence is:
- Hero
- Collection or product story
- Featured products
- Editorial content or lookbook
- Newsletter and footer
You can change the sequence from the editor without outside help.
